Pricing
Q: How does pricing work?
A: Quoted pricing is based on double occupancy. Quoted pricing includes 6 nights at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa, access to 3 haunt attractions in Orlando, transportation, a swag bag, and a day shopping trip to Disney Springs.
Q: Do I need to pay everything upfront?
A: If you are booking before July 1, 2027 you can hold your room with a $250 per person deposit. After July 1, 2027 bookings will require full payment.
Q: I am ready to book! Now what?
A: Please click on the "Register" link on the home page. This will take you to the booking page.
Q: Are there cancellation fees?
A: Yes. There will be fees both through the resort as well as Horizon Cruise Planners. Prior to July 1st, there will be a $100 per person cancellation fee through HCP as well as any other fees the resort may charge. After July 1st, there are no refunds.
Q: Are there any other "hidden" fees?
A: The resort does charge a $35 per day "resort fee". Please factor that in to your budget. It's unfortunate, but there is nothing we can do about that.
Q: What's the difference between the "Studio Villa" package and the "Deluxe Villa" Package?
A: Each room has a built in upcharge that allows us to host the event and take care of all the other details for you, such as event tickets and transportation. The Studio Villa package comes with a kitchenette, a king bed, 400 square feet of space, standard tickets to all events, a swag bag, and transportation. The Deluxe Villa package comes with all the Studio Villa inclusions, but also includes a 800 square feet room and a HHN express pass, which is highly recommended for this event!
Q: I have a special circumstance. Do you offer discounts?
A: Unfortunately no, pricing is set.
Q: I am a single passenger. Do I have to pay double the per person rate?
A: Please inquire through the "Contact Us" link and we will be happy to get you a quote.
Inclusions
Q: What's included with my ticket?
A: When you book this event, your ticket will include the 6-night stay at Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa. In additional, you will receive access to 3 haunted events in Orlando, a swag bag, transportation to the events, as well as a shopping day trip to Disney Springs.
Q: Are flights included witih my ticket?
A: No. Flights are not included in the cost.
Q: What is included in the swag bag?
A: Your merch will include an event t-shirt and an event lanyard. Plus maybe a couple of other spooky inclusions!

Q: Can more than two people be in a room?
A: Please inquire through the "Contact Us" link.
Q: Is this a family friendly event experience?
A: The Westgate Lakes Resort & Spa and the nearby theme parks are very child-friendly. However, Halloween Horror Nights, Mortem Manor, and Howl-o-Scream can be too intense for some young guests. Please use your parental discretion.
Hallowed Nights Event
Q: I' have never been to Orlando during the spooky season. What should I expect?
A: This event is hosted by a travel agent. We take great care in assisting you with your questions, walking you through the process, and communicated with you about event details and more. While Orlando in general is a blast, you can expect to make lifelong friends while experience some of the best haunted attractions in the world!
Q: Will I need a passport?
A: No, but if you are flying, you will need a passport or REAL ID for boarding the plane.
Q: Do I have to book this event with Horizon Cruise Planners to get the inclusions?
A: Yes, this is an exclusive event run by a travel agency and guests must book directly with the travel agency to participate.
Q: How does food and drinks work during this vacation?
A: Guests will be responsible for their own food and drink expenses during the vacation.
Q: Who's running this event?
A: Hallowed Nights is hosted by Nick Wallace with Horizon Cruise Planners. Nick has been a travel agent for over 13 years and works as a scare actor during the haunt season. He loves horror as much as anyone!
Q: What are the dates of the event?
A: Hallowscreams runs September 22 - September 28, 2027.
Q: What is the event like?
A: This is our first event and plan to continue this experience for years to come. We hope to create a friendly focused group like experience where you will be able to experience some of the world's most amazing haunt experiences together. However, you are welcome to do your own thing as well!
Q: You can't be too careful these days. How do we know this event is legit?
